Long time, no see, eh?
Sorry 'bout that.
I have been kinda busy.
That's code for "I'm super-lazy and procrastinate too much."
Speaking of which, procrastination is Lucifer disguised.
I used that metaphor yesterday.
To describe myspace :O

But I digress.

This week has been a mixed blessing for me.

One the one hand, my skin has decided to declare war against my face.
A full-blown war, with cannons and tanks and bayonets.
*Nods*.
My skin is currently this color.
I HATE it.
And makeup isn't helping.
In fact, it's probably the cause.
Bleh.
So I cannot make videos, since people will see my disgusting skin and unsubscribe in horror.
Sorry about that :(

But on the other hand, I've made significant progress.
In what, you may ask?
In life in general, I suppose.
I ended a poisonous friendship with a guy I currently despise.
In a way, I had an epiphany.
I realised he was always going to lie and manipulate me.
And it was just screwing me up.
So I ended it.
I deleted him from facebook.
I blocked his number.
I can't do much more, since we don't go to the same school.
But I plan on leaving every time he shows up.
Most of you probably don't know this.
But this is a HUGE breakthrough for me.
And I'm sorta starting to reevaluate my life.
But in a good way.
Not a transcendental, "What does life mean?", freaky-hippie (though I like hippies) sort of way.
So be proud of me, 'kay?

Encounters with Prostitutes.

Hmm...

Anywho.

That's not what I'm talking about.

I'm talking about prostitutes, actually.

Well, sorta.

Kinda.

Not really.

You see, my sister and I were talking to my BFFL Alex on teh skypez.

And Cara and I were looking at Craigslist.

And we started looking at personal ads.

And then we clicked on "Casual Encounters".

Which we then found out means prostitute.

But Cara and Alex didn't believe me when I said this was highly illegal.

Oh no.

Why would they do that?

So we clicked on a seemingly innocent one.

And had Alex call it.

And the conversation went as follows:

Prostitute: Hello?

Alex: I saw your add on (what's the site called)?

Me: Craigslist.

Alex: Craiglist.

Prostitute: Oh. How long would you like?

Alex: How much is 2 hours?

Prostitute: $400.

Alex: Oh wow... Can I get that for $100?

Prostitute: Sorry?

Alex: Can I get that for $100?

Prostitute: 2 hours?

Alex: Yeah.

Prostitute: *hangs up*

O.O

So, as you can see, I had an eventful last night.

You are so silly, Alex.

So...

Moral of the story:

Never click on "Casual Encounters" on Craigslist.

Unless you need a prostitute.

Oh.

I also won my debate in... um, Debate.

The irony?

I was pro-prostitution!

We pretended to pretend that we were fangirling Matt for Jesse's benefit.

We made inappropriate and untrue comments about Alissa and Ryan whenever they were gone.

We had loads of fun.

Gina Is Bored... Sowwy...

So...
It's been snowing since Sunday...
and it was really nice at first...
and even nicer later...
and I absolutely loved it on my birthday...
but now I think it needs to be killed.
I hate it with the fiery passion of a thousand suns, that burns in every fiber of my being!!!

Why?
Because the snow has caused me to not see my best friend since Wednesday, and his birthday was on Thursday, and my birthday was on Friday, and his party was today!!!
It's aggravates me.

Have you noticed that I start basically all my posts with "So"?
It's a little excessive, don't you think?
I need a new word to start my posts...

So... It's been awhile : /

So...
I haven't posted in awhile...
Oopsie.
I have nothing to blame.
I haven't been too busy.
My computer hasn't been broken.
The simple truth is that I've been too lazy to update
:(

But my school is closed and has been for 2 days, giving me ample time to update.
And yet I have waited 'til now...

Well, you'll be glad to know I've been less neglectful of you than of my videos.
I haven't updated this here blog in a month.
I haven't made a video in six weeks.

But my New Year's Resolution is going to be that I pay more attention to both you and YouTube.
So look forward to me breaking it.

Now, a small anecdote to tide you over:
Two weeks ago, I got a facebook.
Now, this was quite a feat, because I have resisted all things Facebook-ish since the 7th grade. However, my lovely friend Alex begged me, and I cannot say no to him, so I caved.
Not to mention, he made it for me.
Anywho, I discovered that it is, in fact, addictive. I spent several hours on it at a time. And then, of course, it crashed my internet.
It went completely spastic.
And after in had killed my internet to its satisfaction, it tried to move on to my computer. So I had to spend 2 hours de-bugging my computer.
Moral of the story: I hate facebook.

Skype is sweet.

Seriously.

I'm always on it when I'm supposed to be doing my homework.

It's much more entertaining than doing Trig/Pre-Calc homework.

I'm not sure which I'm doing; Trig or Pre-Calc.

We're learning about sine and cosine and the like, so I think I'm in Trig right now, but we learned about that in Geometry, too.

I'm confuzzled.

Anywho, Skype.

It's amazing.

I like using it.

Especially calls with Alex and whoever he happens to be talking with.

Today it's Sofia.

And I am avoiding Debate homework.

Although I wanna do my Debate homework!

I get to research prostitution, because I'm arguing that it should be legal.

It totally should.

Dramadramadrama. It reeks. Avoid it when possible. Especially relationship drama. Just don't go there. Go here instead. YAYZ!

So anywho... drama. A key part a modern high school experience, one that has inspired many a TV show, movie, book, and song, but one I think we could do without.

Like, really.

The worst kind is the kind where it's happening to you, but your friends, who should have absolutely say in the matter except to help, get all righteously indignant that you won't take their advice, or that the problem even exists. It's like, IT'S NOT YOUR PROBLEM, JERK! WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT IT?

But whatevs (my new favorite word). Drama is a part of my everyday life (comes with the territory of having a suicidal best friend) and I can deal with it fine.

On to happier topics.

THIS WEEKEND IS 4 DAYS LONG! W00T (those are zeros, not lowercase 'o's)!!! Also, I just reread Rumble Fish, and it was great, so I'm rereading the Outsiders, although I think I left my copy at school. Oh, well, I'll take Cara's, since it's technically mine as well. :)

Okay, now you all know. He's one of my favorite authors, and guess what? ... Wait for it... wait for it... wait for it... I MET HIM TONIGHT!!!!!

I volunteer at a library, and Rick Riordan is in Portland to Teen Author thingamajig, and my friend Nick and I are introducing him at the thingy--IN FRONT OF 800 PEOPLE. I'm excited (read: I'm going to pass out from nerves. Only I'm not allowed, because Nick already called it).

But, anyway, because of that, we went to dinner with him and a bunch of librarians. So I look silly. Again:

But it's not as bad as tomorrow (the introduction). I'm wearing a dress tomorrow. That is silliness to the extreme.

Homecoming and Norwegian Wood

So this is my second post. Yayz!

I don't ever update this thingy. But I'm going to try harder.

So yesterday was the homecoming dance. And in honor of that, I dressed really silly. See?:

But it was fun. However, Spirit Week was not. I'm sorry, but why would I dress up to show spirit for a school I don't even like? It seems hypocritical. I mean, people complain about how much they hate school for the entire year, but then for one week, they all get possessed with school spirit, and I'm like, "But didn't you hate this school on Friday?"

Wow. That sounded a lot less complain-y when I was thinking it. Oh well :D

I also made a new video. Yayz for that! It's a cover of "Norwegian Wood" by the Beatles. But it refuses to let me put it on here. Let's try this:
